General

We are growing the finance team of Mr. Marine to six people to manage the increase in our business. The finance team is responsible for all accounting and reporting activities for the company and its subsidiaries. The team is also responsible for specific accounting activities such as GL accounting, fixed assets management, stock management, working capital management/improvement, tax management, consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.

Job Description

The candidate for this position will have the following responsibilities:

Preparing income statements and balance sheets for month-end closing activities
Analysing and interpreting budget to actuals and discussing findings with management team
Maintaining balance sheet accounts and control suspense accounts
Evaluating and setting up financial controls and procedures
Be a gatekeeper for the company’s credit control procedure and timely flag (possible) issues
Be part of the team that continuously develops and improves SAP B1, and implements further innovative analyses in Power BI
Providing on the job guidance to the Jr Finance Administrator

Job Requirements

5+ years of working experience in financial administration
A first-level university degree or equivalent is preferred
Experience with, and knowledge of, SAP B1 is a big plus
Mr. Marine uses the Google platform, and the experience with Google tools is a plus
Strong understanding of processes and procedures
Fluency in the English language
