Job Description

We are further strengthening our finance team. After recent acquisitions and with an ambitious IT agenda, we are changing and improving continuously which makes our finance team unique as we strive to deliver added value to our business every day. The finance team is responsible for all accounting and reporting activities for the company and its subsidiaries. The team is also responsible for specific accounting activities such as GL accounting, fixed assets management, stock management, working capital management, tax management, consolidation and intercompany reconciliation. Our finance team consists of two sub-teams: a working capital management team and a business/financial control team. Both teams have clear KPI’s to ensure reliable and timely figures together.

Job Description

The candidate for this position will have the following responsibilities:

– Assist in the preparation and analysis of income statement and balance sheet;
– Be responsible for recording invoices (AP) and/or prepare sales invoices;
– Be responsible for recording bank transactions in SAP and perform reconciliation to the bank statements;
– Preparing ad-hoc reporting as requested by the CFO or Financial Control;
– Assist in maintaining the balance sheet accounts and control suspense accounts;
– Evaluating and setting up financial controls and procedures;
– Be a gatekeeper for the company’s credit control procedure and timely flag (possible) issues;
– Be part of the team that continuously develops and improves SAP B1, and implements further innovative analyses in Power BI.

 

Function requirements

– 2+ years of working experience in financial administration
– Minimum level of education: secondary vocational education (‘MBO’)
– Experience with, and knowledge of, SAP B1 is a big plus
– Understanding of processes and procedures
– Fluency in the English language
