Green Instruments G6100 Wash Water Monitoring System

Green Instruments G6100 Wash Water Monitoring System

Green Instruments offers the G6100 Wash Water Monitoring System, a reliable and accurate continuous water monitoring solution. The standard configuration includes PAH, turbidity, and pH/temperature sensor modules. Depending on the system’s location, an optional sampling unit (pump cabinet or pressure reduction cabinet) can be integrated into the Water Monitoring System. The sampling unit features a de-bubbler to prevent interference from sample degassing. For comprehensive monitoring, both the inlet and outlet of the scrubber can be equipped with the system. The G6100 Water Monitoring System is designed with modularity in mind, allowing seamless integration into any exhaust gas cleaning system. The sampling units are specially designed to accommodate a wide range of water pressures, facilitating a hassle-free “Plug ‘n’ measure” installation process.

Key features of the G6100 include full compliance with MEPC. 259(68) regulations, suitability for open, closed, and hybrid systems, real on-site verification/calibration, coverage of a broad temperature, pressure, and flow range, easy operation with minimal maintenance requirements, and various approvals and certificates from renowned classification societies such as DNV-GL, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register, Rina Marine, Korean Register, Nippon Kyokai, CCS, and ABS. The G6100 Water Monitoring System ensures reliable and highly accurate measurements, with the convenience of on-site verification and calibration using certified standards. The system’s low maintenance needs are attributed to the cleaning effect achieved by high water velocity, keeping the optical components free from fouling and enabling extended service intervals.

More About Green Instruments G6100 Wash Water Monitoring System

Flexible and Modular Design

The Water Monitoring System can be configured with an optional sampling unit (either a pump cabinet or a pressure reduction cabinet) depending on the location of the Water Monitoring System. The sampling unit includes a de-bubbler, which avoids interference due to the sample degassing.

A water monitoring solution normally includes the monitoring systems at both the inlet and outlet of the scrubber. There are also optional system setups which include the standard parameters and other required parameters such as water density upon specific monitoring requirements.

Fully Compliant Solution

The G6100 Water Monitoring System is fully compliant with resolution MEPC. 259(68). The G6100 is currently the only complete system in the world which has achieved a marine type approval by DNV/GL, RINA, Lloyd´s Register, Bureau Veritas, Korean Register of Shipping and Nippon Kaiji Kyokai for monitoring of all media (PAH, turbidity, and pH/temperature) required in MEPC. 259(68).
