Customer Success Specialist


The Customer success specialist is a customer-facing, self-driven sales professional who is a key player in Mr. Marine in developing customer relationships, promoting loyalty and retention.

Reporting to the Account Management Team Lead.



  • Develop a deep understanding of Mr. Marine’s technical service offerings, including marine elevator maintenance, ballast water treatment compliance, instrumentation, and control systems servicing.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their specific needs, challenges, and objectives related to onboard technical services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships and acting as their advocate within Mr. Marine.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and technical support, to ensure seamless resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to review service performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement or upselling.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers in maximizing the value of Mr. Marine’s services
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and key performance indicators, taking proactive measures to address any areas of concern and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements, sharing insights and recommendations with customers as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, visits, and contact details.


Function requirements

  • Minimum a first-level university degree.
  • Experience in the international shipping business is a plus
  • Excellent reading and writing business English, a second language is a plus
  • Good understanding and empathy for cultural differences.
  • Being a tech savvy is a plus
