General

We are looking for a technical recruiter with marine experience to join our international team. As a successful candidate, you will closely collaborate with the technical department for all verticals and build a strong pipeline of new field service engineers for our locations in the Netherlands, India, Panama, and Singapore.

You will screen upcoming applications in the company’s ATS and actively source new engineers worldwide. A great understanding of the shipping and marine industry is a must, together with self-motivation to reach given targets. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, from the first contact with potential candidates to sending out the offer letters and closing the deal. We provide you with the right tools and training to help you succeed. In return, we expect a self-starter with a recruiter mindset and a team player soul!

This position will be based in our office in Singapore. You will be part of the HR team and you will be reporting to the HR Business Partner based in the HQ, in the Netherlands.

Job Description

  • Reviewing and posting technical job descriptions
  • Screening upcoming applications and forwarding them to the hiring managers
  • Sourcing and approaching new candidates
  • Setting up the interviews and following up with candidates and the hiring team
  • Cooperate with all stakeholders and provide assistance in technical assessment and medical checks
  • Collecting documents and processing with the recruitment steps
  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process
  • Sending out the offer letters and following up with the preferred candidates
  • Collecting candidates’ documents and cooperating with the HR Officer on the onboarding process
  • Cooperate with the HR department on the recruitment process and strategies
  • Having fun and enjoying what you do

Job Requirements

Function requirements

  • Completed first-level university degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant recruitment or sourcing experience in a technical environment
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Solid knowledge of the marine/shipping industry
  • Having a marine network will be considered a strong advantage
  • Fluency in English is a must; one language used in Mr Marine’s international offices will be a plus
