Wij zijn Mr Marine. Onze missie is “to keep vessels safe and compliant”. Wij zijn een wereldwijde TICC Service Provider (“Testing, Inspection, Calibration and Certification”) in de maritieme sector. We richten ons op elektrische en mechanische apparatuur aan boord van zeeschepen die belangrijk is voor veiligheid en milieu.

  • Mr. Marine Elevator is de wereldwijde marktleider in onderhoud, testen, inspecteren en certificeren van marine elevators. We voeren jobs uit, van Annual Safety Inspections tot moderniseringen.
  • Mr. Marine Ballast is gericht op de compliance van zeeschepen met de Ballast Water Treatment conventie
  • Mr. Marine Instruments & Controls is gericht op testen, inspecteren, kalibreren en certificeren van systemen op gebied van gas detectie, oil water separators, ODMEs, UTIs, fire fightings en instrumenten op gebied van pressure en temperatuur.

De Team Leader Project Management leidt een team van 5 – 7 Project Managers. Het team is verantwoordelijk voor het uitbrengen van offertes, het binnenhalen van orders, de coordinatie van de service en de administratieve afronding van de jobs. De Team Leader geeft leiding, en creert een omgeving waarin het team goed getraind, begeleid en gemotiveerd wordt om de beste service voor onze klanten te leveren. De Team Leader is ook verantwoordelijk voor het identificeren van mogelijke proces- en organisatieverbeteringen gericht op het bereiken van operational excellence. De Team Leader Project Management rapporteert aan de Operations Director.

General

Leading a team of project managers in the fulfillment of elevator service projects. Create an environment which encourages and inspires the team to be their best whilst focused on driving results to meet the organizational goals and objectives. Continuously identifying process gaps and seeking to enhance productivity and service quality to achieve operational excellence. The Team Leader Project Management reports to the Director Operations.

Requirements

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Dagelijks leiding over een team van 5-7 Project Managers.
  • Meten, monitoren en sturen op team performance aansluitend bij Mr Marine’s bedrijfsdoelen.
  • Planning van het werk en inzetten van capaciteit op de meest efficiënte en effectieve manier.
  • Verzekeren dat het team werkt volgens de afgesproken processen (ISO 9001) en standaarden.
  • Initiëren en implementeren van proces- en organisatieverbeteringen.
  • Coachen en begeleiden van teamleden bij hun ontwikkeling en identificeren van trainingsbehoeften.
  • Initiëren en ondersteunen van kennisdeling binnen het team en met andere teams.
  • Zelf ook uitvoeren van het proces van ontvangen van offerteaanvragen, uitbrengen van offertes, binnenhalen van orders en coördineren van services voor onze klanten.
  • Regelmatig hebben van meetings met klanten om hun behoeften te begrijpen en hun uitdagingen te helpen oplossen.

Job description

  • Lead a team of project managers and manage assigned customer portfolio to ensure the delivery of high-quality service
  • Measure, monitor and manage team performance to ensure they are aligned with company objectives
  • Manage resources in the most efficient and effective way
  • Ensure the team utilizes best practices, techniques and standards
  • Look for improvement and efficiency in and around operational processes. Supports process improvement.
  • Coaching and developing team members – identifying training needs
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions within team and cross-team
  • Regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and following up on specific issues/escalations
  • Coordinate service projects including quoting, processing orders and planning service attendance
  • Establish a work plan for coordinating multiple projects at a given time frame
  • Manage communication with customers and subcontractors throughout the project
  • Create and maintain safety awareness amongst employees and subcontractors in the project
  • Handle claims on projects with values up till €10,000.
  • General administration of projects
  • Correct execution of the company’s quality policy.

 

 

Functie eisen

  • Afgestudeerd aan HBO of universiteit.
  • Minimaal 2 years ervaring in een vergelijkbare leidinggevende positie
  • Een technische achtergrond is gewenst.
  • Ervaring in de maritieme sector is gewenst.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling.
  • Bekendheid met een modern ERP-systeem, zoals SAP Business One is gewenst.

Qualification

  • Second-level university degree preferably with a technical background
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar leadership within the maritime industry
  • Good written and verbal expression skills; internal and external contacts to be treated correctly; handle people in a flexible way.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business One is a plus
