We are very excited about the annual competition we recently launched: who will be the 2019 World’s Best Marine Elevator Technician?
Any elevator technician in the world can enter, regardless of the elevator company they are working for. We will award great prizes to the winner, runner-up, and rookie of the year. From a stay in an all-inclusive top-end resort to laptops and top-end smartphones.
Many applicants already entered – some with many years of experience and some with less than 5 years. This is why we have different prizes for the different levels of experience – we have two prizes for the experienced and another prize for the best rookie who has less than 5 years of experience.

You may be asking – why did we choose to start such a competition? As the worldwide market leader, we must have the best people on board. That’s why we are out to find the best. Every technician working for MR Elevator is fully qualified, certified and complies with the following standards: EN-81-20, EN-81-80, EN-13015, and ISO 8383 “Lifts on Ships”. Our technicians are top-class, however, we would like to identify the world’s best technicians to give them the recognition that they deserve.
We believe that this competition will not only identify the best marine elevator technician in the world, but it will also raise the bar for the industry as a whole. By setting a high standard for excellence, we hope to encourage other elevator technicians to strive for greatness and push themselves to be the best they can be.
