The PT9 C-PROOF is an advanced, seawater-proof underwater locating device, specifically designed to be installed on data storage capsules/final recording Medias (FRM) of Voyage Data Recorder Systems (VDR/S-VDR), in accordance with SAE AS 8045 standards. Its primary function is to emit a locating signal for a minimum of 30 days when activated by water immersion.
