Panasia Electric Pressure Type Level Transmitter LEVEL-3000™

The LEVEL-3000™ is a pressure-type level transmitter designed for continuous liquid level measurement in marine ships’ ballast tanks, draft, fuel oil tanks, and other tanks containing media. The transmitter consists of two electric wires, an amplifier connected to a special ventilating wire, and a diaphragm. The transducer, filled with special oil, contains a piezoresistive sensor element (Wheatstone bridge) that detects changes in the diaphragm’s surface pressure due to the liquid’s pressure. These changes in resistance are transformed into a current signal of 4~20mA or an RS485 communication signal through the analog signal processing circuit. The LEVEL-3000™ offers several features, including compatibility with other current output transmitters, a high measuring accuracy, high temperature stability, no hysteresis, and marine class approval. The measuring range can be selected from various options, and the transducer type is piezoresistive. It is constructed with stainless steel or titanium materials, providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance. An optional temperature sensor (PT100) allows temperature measurement as well.

The transmitter’s total error band is within ±1 at a temperature range of -25~85°C, and it offers protection against overpressure. The LEVEL-3000™ is rated IP68, making it fully submersible and suitable for marine applications. It operates on a power supply ranging from 10 ~ 38 VDC.
